From the creative brain of singer-songwriter, guitarist, and pianist, Kian Blume, comes his latest single “Parasite”.
On the song, Kian says,
‘Parasite’ is essentially about falling in love with someone that you know isn’t good for you. I wrote it in an ominous way to show the scary emotions I go through when giving my heart to someone. Being vulnerable is scary and I resonate with that.
With a passion for tuning his poetry into song, “Parasite” is pop at its finest. Autotune is used smartly and enhances instead of distracting the ear, but it’s the darker undertones of the lyrics that create a bit of lyrical magic. They’re catchy and combined with the body moving infectious beats, one can’t help but dance along to the song.
Combining reflective lyrics and a mesmerising beat, “Parasite” is a banger of a tune.
