Collaborating with Fortean TV presenter Father Lionel Fanthorpe, The Rusty Nutz have released “Twig in the Lake”, an ode to Swansea’s own mystery of the monster at Fendrod Lake in Llansamlet.
From their forthcoming sophomore album, “Twig in the Lake” is a raucous good time with heavy guitars, organ like synths, rumbling bass and drums, and infectious lyrics that are delivered on point by vocalist Ant Jones.
What makes “Twig in the Lake” great is that in its fun and frivolity, it’s quite an engaging and endearing song like the band is.
While “Twig in the Lake” will be on the upcoming album, The Rusty Nutz will be releasing a four song EP, The Twig in the Lake EP that will also feature previous released tracks, “A Night at Ye Olde Red Cow”, “Popty Ping II”, and “Liar at the Bar” that will be out on St David’s Day (March 1st).
