For what it’s worth, I am a sucker for anything glam rock and Sydney’s Starcrazy is serving up the glam rock with their latest single, “What It’s Worth”. From their forthcoming self titled album that’s due out on October 18th, the four piece band are calling on the energies of Jellyfish and Supergrass to craft their own little slice of glam rock swagger.
The young band, and I mean young as they’ve only been together for a mere four years, are on a course to provide music that is infectious and fuelled by hand claps, fun, and magnetic charm.
On the song, Starcrazy says,
“‘What It’s Worth’ is a reflective song about the value of creative endeavours, it questions the validity of the work that we produce as artists ie are you getting back what you put in? Does your work mean anything to other people? Is it connecting? These are the questions I think are necessary to ask yourself when writing/creating.”
