Vicolo Inferno‘s latest single, “Cold Surface,” looks at the complexities of human connection. From their forthcoming album Circles, “Cold Surface” could be a case study of two individuals who find themselves in close physical proximity yet remain emotionally distant.

Masterfully weaving together a sonic tapestry that captures the undercurrent of tension and longing that permeates in a silent room, the song’s gritty vocals cut through the silence, setting the stage for an emotional journey. Rumbling basslines, thick riffs, and infectious rhythms combine to create a soundscape that throbs with raw energy and palpable tension while the lyrics paint a picture of a couple who are physically close but emotionally worlds apart.

In a world where understanding one another seems elusive, “Cold Surface” reminds us of the complexities of human connection.
