Negative Thirteen, formerly known as Negative Theory, formed in Pittsburgh, PA in 1999, disbanded in 2003 after their self titled debut was released, and reformed in 2021 with original bandmates Chip Reynolds (drums), Scott Fisher (vocals) Edwards Banchs (guitars) with Mary Bielich joining on bass. Negative 13 would then release their sophomore album Mourning Asteri in 2021, and then their first live album, Live from Black Forge (2023).
Now as a new year is upon us, the foursome have released their latest single, “Horizon Divides” which the band says is about facing the realities that no one can run from their problems.
Packed with strong riffs, ferocious rhythms, and menacing vocals, “Horizon Divides” stirs up dark emotions and forces one to stop running and face their demons.
