LISTEN: “My Favorite” by Ceara Cavalieri

I’m a sucker for a sticky sweet pop rock song and that’s exactly what So Cal based singer, Ceara Cavalieri is delivering with her latest single, “My Favorite”.

Tossing her UCLA psychology degree aside to chase her musical dreams, the fun and infectious ode to the one that’s bad for us, be it the bad boy or the bad girl vocally reminds me of early Avril Lavigne and Taylor Swift with the fun of Warped Tour bands like Paramore.

On the song, she says,

“The song is about the adventures I experienced while dating this bad boy and the trouble we got into together. When you start falling for a bad boy, you know it probably won’t end well, but it’s so fun and exhilarating that you don’t care because the highs are so good. When I really like someone, I am the queen of ignoring red flags, and I knew this guy was showing some warning signs, but in the moment, I didn’t care because he was ‘My Favorite’ person.”

Luckily, there are no red flags or warning signs on Ceara’s current path.

It’s all green flags.

Unlike the troubles of loving someone bad for you, “My Favorite” is cheeky good fun.
