Originally recorded by Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds featuring PJ Harvey, “Henry Lee” was produced by the legendary producer-engineer Tony Cohen. Tony had a long and celebrated career and defined the punk and rock sounds of Australia from the late 70’s to through the 90’s.
With his posthumously released memoir HALF DEAF, COMPLETELY MAD: The Chaotic Genius of Australia’s Most Legendary Producer, Australian artists are uniting to reinterpret songs originally recorded by Tony.
The fifth in a series, “Henry Lee” sees Augie March and Romy Vager joining forces in the Cave-Harvey re-interpretation.
