LISTEN: “The Last Time” by Boy in Space

Music
Shelia Taylor
April 24, 2024

Age is just a number and Boy in Space, the young gun from Sweden proves it yet again with his latest single, “The Last Time”.

On the song Robin Lundbäck aka Boy in Space says,

“’The Last Time’ was written during a quite difficult time in my life, and the song became an outlet of what I was going through while also taking on a life of its own. A breakup story and a nostalgic description of what could be the last moment together, leaving trails of betrayal and a feeling of being let down. I tried to capture that feeling of bittersweet heartbreak, when you want to laugh and cry at the same time.”

With his vocals effortlessly soaring above poetic and grand melodies, Boy in Space is both vulnerable and resilient. There’s wisdom in his words, strength in his voice, and a power that can only be found once one resolves to transcend the traumas of the past and to look forward to a brighter and better future.

“The Last Time” is not only a confession from a young man who has faced heartache but one who has risen from the ashes like a phoenix a better man from that heartache..
