Videos you might have missed this week: (in alphabetical order)

A Light Within – From the Missouri four piece comes “Idenity” that is an edgy mix of rock and progressive. Vocalist Kyle Brandt wrote the song as a call to create a new positive destiny rather than repeating the division that we are currently living in.

Burnt Sherpa – From his album Last or Later out on May 17th, Greg Green, the man behind Burnt Sherpa released “Sugar Rush”. The song isn’t just an ode to his better half. Written on his father in law’s guitar that he inherited, it’s a threadline between father and daughter and wife and husband.

Deliria – The post black metal five peice released their live vide for their song “Gemini” from their upcoming album Phantasm that will be out on May 3rd.

Donaublut – seeking a song about the sinister side of love? Look no further than “Böse Schlange”. What makes the song so effective is not only the synths but Donaublut singing in their native German tongue.

Extrema – As the legendary Italian band continues to celebrate their debut album Tension at the Seams turning thirty, they have also released a new single “Paralyzed” with an accompanyinig video.

Hog Meets Frog – if you’re down for a thump-a-licious filled groove, then check out the latest single, “ADOLF The Ant…or Am I Steve?”. It’s as if Hog Meets Frog is the child of Primus! The band says the song is “a metaphor  for the increasing number of politicians with autocratic tendencies in the world’s democracies.”

Isle of the Cross – “Ghost at the Feast” is the first single from the sophomore album Faustus the Musical that will feature Eric Gillette on guitar, Daniël de Jongh as Faustus, Diane Lee as Good Angel, Charles Elliott as Lucifer, Matthieu Romarin as Mephistopheles, Angela Di Vincenzo as Helen, and Amrit Sandhu as the Narrator. The metal opera will be released on July 5th.

Modern Mimes – With the announcement of their album Under the Claws of Death (Date TBA), the band released their latest single “Bridge to Clarity” and accompanying video.

Mooch – From their upcoming May 3rd release, Visions, the psychedelic band released, “You Wouldn’t Know” which looks at the inner sabateour and the challenge of embracing love. If you’re a fan of RuPaul’s Drag Race, you know the inner sabateour all too well. Grungy, grimy, and gritty, the song is just another sneak peak at what one will experience with the full album.

Slaughtersun – if you ever listen to a song and wonder, how do they do that then check out Slaughtersun’s playthrough for their latest single “Ready Cell Awaits”.

Slugcrust – The Greenville, SC band released their single, “Feral Natural” from their forthcoming EP, Discharge(d) (June 28). Under two minutes, the song and video lives up to it’s name. Feral, guttaral, and satisfying.

The Human Tornado – The latest single, “Your Darkness” is not only the debut of their new line up but is also proof of the band’s sonic evolution.

The Mourning – From their upcoming album Hush, “Choas Machine” shows the US prog rockers studying a person who seems to  attracts mayhem.

The Order of The Precious Blood – Following their intense single “Cheaper But Will Do”, comes “Black Hole”. The song is aggressive and heavy, and not for the faint eared.

Yosemite in Black – From their forthcoming album The Pursuit Of (August 16), the Atlanta based band released their single, “Cold Shoulder”. Blink and you’ll miss the two and half minute assault on the ears that is filled with thunderous bass riffs, wailing guitars, and in your face vocals.

A Light Within, Burnt Sherpa, Deliria, Donaublut, Extrema, Hog Meets Frog, Isle of the Cross, Modern Mimes, Mooch, New Noise, Slaughtersun, Slugcrust, The Human Tornado, The Mourning, The Order of Precious Blood, Yosemite in Black
