EP REVIEW: Robby Bloodshed vs. Voice of Doom

Out now, Robby Bloodshed vs Voice of Doom is a 4 song cover EP with Robby Bloodshed and Voice of Doom covering a Misfit song each and covering a song from each other.

Robby covers “Teenagers from Mars” while Voice covers “Children in Heat” by the Misfits.

Voice covers Robby’s “Tell Tale Horror” and Robby covers “Trilogy of Terror”.

For those unfamiliar with either, both artists hail from New Jersey with Robby Bloodshed creating madness since 2010 while Voice of Doom started creating punk metal tunes in 1986.

What’s fabulous about Robby Bloodshed vs Voice of Doom is that both Misfits covers are homages to the originals and they do a standout cover of each other’s songs as well.

The EP allows for a wonderful rivalry between the two to blossom into creative magic that is filled with crackling guitars, crashing drums, reverberating bass, and old school nostalgia.
